for the past decade, I have developed several projects related to digital technologies and feminist movements.

a few examples:

between 2018 and 2019, I researched how digital technologies are used by feminist movements and organisations in Brazil. more specifically, I looked at how these technologies are utilized in the context of activism and advocacy for sexual and reproductive health and rights. if you’d like to know more about this research, get in touch. 🙂

since november 2022, I’ve been the co-host and producer of a podcast about how Black Brazilian women have been using digital technologies to fight for social justice.

in 2023, I facilitated the provision of free tech and data support to Black feminist organisers, resulting in over 10 organisations benefiting from tailored tech guidance. learn more below:

since 2023, I have been a Regional Peer Panellist at FREE STEM Fundcontributing to the selection and scoring of applications, reviewing 50 applications from organisations focused on the rights on girls, women, transgender and non-binary people in Latin America and Africa.
