I’m a researcher, writer and project manager. With over a decade of experience, I have done research, advocacy, and communications for organisations like ARTICLE 19, The Engine Room, Collaborative Research Center for Resilience, and The MERL Tech Initiative.
Some of my favourite projects have included defending freedom of information, researching tech-facilitated gender-based violence, looking for ways to improve the health of information ecosystems and understanding the use of digital technologies by feminist movements.
I’m one of the co-founders of Instituto Minas Programam. Between 2015 and 2026, we created spaces for Black Brazilian girls/women to learn about technology from a feminist and anti-racist perspective.
My work has been featured in places like Gender IT, AWID, Forbes, MIT Tech Review, Folha de São Paulo, Gênero e Número and UOL Notícias.
I have a Bachelor’s degree in International Relations and a postgraduate diploma in Culture, Education and Race Relations, both from the University of São Paulo and a Master of Arts in Gender and Development from the Institute of Development Studies at the University of Sussex.

- Researching how Black feminists in Brazil create and care for records that document their organising, as a Master’s student of Archival and Information Studies at the University of Amsterdam.
- Being a Community Manager at The MERL Tech Initiative, where I facilitate conversations about ethical and responsible use of technologies in social sector work.
- Supporting Glitch as the Vice Chair of the Board of Trustees. Glitch is a Black feminist non-profit, working to ensure internet technologies do not replicate or extend discrimination to Black women and other marginalised people. Support their mission.
- Contributing to the FREE STEM Fund as a Regional Peer Panellist, ensuring organisations focused on the rights on girls, women, transgender and non-binary people in Latin America and Africa get the support they need.
